# Introduction to the Features Catalog

This is a catalog of existing modifications to and added features of th Consul Democracy software developed by user, developers and public organizations worldwide.

The Consul Democracy software is open source, meaning that everyone is free to use, modify and build on the project's code. People who do are, in accordance with our license ...., required to make their code modifications public as well.

This configuration has contributed, on the one hand, to the worldwide diffusion and use of the Consul Democracy platform and, on the other, it has lead to a variety of local modifications and added features.

This catalog and collaborative document aims to provide a overview of the existing features and modifications and, thereby, to make it easier for users and developers to get informed, get in touch with the makers, and look up repositories and use the code.
